MeshCore

MeshCore analyzer (CoreScope)

To feed CoreScope you run an "observer." It's a small program that grabs the MeshCore packets your radio hears and sends them up to our broker, and we decode them on our end.

Point your observer at:

Host: mqtt.idahomesh.com
Port: 1883, plain TCP, no TLS
User / pass: mesh / mesh
Format: meshcoretomqtt

Pick your program

Which one you run depends on your radio. Repeater or room server plugged into a Pi/Linux/Mac over USB: meshcoretomqtt (opens in a new tab). Companion radio over BLE/USB on stock firmware: meshcore-packet-capture (opens in a new tab).

Point it at the broker

Set the host, port, and credentials from the connection details above.

Set your region and confirm it's live

Set your IATA (your nearest airport code, like TWF) and you're pretty much done. Your pubkey and the topic fill in on their own. Give it a minute or two and your packets show up on corescope.idahomesh.com (opens in a new tab).
